Today the U.S. Census figures came out. As I was studying the graphics, Anthony joined me and asked his seven-year old questions of the states he knew (Texas, South Carolina and the northeast states). We looked at the percentages and number of people living in each state, and I showed him how people are moving to the west and south from the northeast.
He liked the way we could go back and see the populations for each Census, but was not satisfied with ten years between numbers.
“Poppy,” he said, “but which button shows me how many people left town today?”
